Social Media ist mehr als nur Likes und Stories, es ist ein politischer Raum.
Algorithmen verstärken polarisierende Narrative, während viele Stimmen unsichtbar bleiben.
Beim #HASHTAG Workshop wird ein Raum geschaffen, um genau das zu hinterfragen – und kreativ darauf zu reagieren.
Gemeinsam entwickeln wir kurze künstlerische Arbeiten wie Videos, poetische Texte oder visuelle Formate, die digitale Narrative neu erzählen, unterbrechen oder umdeuten.

Creative Writing Workshop
As part of Strüktür’s The Rehearsal and The Playbook project, İrem Aydın facilitated a workshop on hüzün, departure, and staying behind, reflecting on the recent political turmoil and migration wave in Turkey. The text inspired from this workshop evolved into the reading performance Blue Bed, which premiered at Performistanbul, and later into Blue Bed II, presented at Savvy Contemporary in Berlin.
Performative Writing Workshops
''Waving Bodies'' workshop series focus on the intersection of queer and migrant identities and provide a safe space for participants to reflect on their own stories and memories through writing. We will be exploring the narrative potential of the unconscious and our senses through imaginative practice. As we pursue questions such as how to connect from personal narrative to universal and from individual experience to collective feeling, we will also be looking into the ways we connect and engage with resistance and empowerment. The workshops include four different modules. The project in collaboration with Maviblau is supported by Fonds Soziokultur.
Cruising Galaxies - Speculative Sci-Fi Workshop
Cruising Galaxies (Weltraummigration) 2022 is a creative writing workshop that was held in Berlin and Istanbul. The project mainly focuses on utopia construction through the perspectives of queer people with migration background. The project also aims to deconstruct binaries in between utopia - dystopia by including Non-eurocentric perspectives. The first workshop in Berlin was held on 27th of May at Migrationsrat. The second one was held on 28th of June in Istanbul. The research project is supported by Fonds Darstellende Künste with funds from the Federal Government Commissioner for Culture and the Media within the program NEUSTART KULTUR.
